I can't believe the amount of views I have got in 2 weeks. Over 500 Views! Thank you so much to everyone who pushed me to start a website. I always thought about it and planned on it someday. What started out as taking pictures for a friend, I never imagined it would end up like this. I remember my first camera in first grade. My aunt bought me a little pink film camera. Thats when I really enjoyed and started taking pictures. Then it was photography classes in highschool. My first digital camera was a sony when I was 19 years old and many after that. I was always taking pictures of everywhere I went. I drove my friends crazy taking pictures. I was always the one at family gatherings every year with a camera in my hands. It wasnt until 2007 I really got into photography and dreamed of getting a DSLR camera. Not to go professional, just to have so I can have a great quality camera that produces great photo quality. A year later I was getting married. My cousin Adams bestfriend Megan was in college and she came over my aunts house the one day and she told me how she was doing photography. I was so excited just listening to her talk about it and then she showed me her photos. I offered her to take some at my wedding. The day of the wedding she showed up and when I saw her camera I was drooling! She took beautiful pictures with it and I was so proud of her. Being so young and doing it all on her own. A few months later I was constantly camera shopping so I decided to ask her for advice. She told me I should get the Nikon D60. How lucky was I to win the Super Bowl pool of $500 at work to put toward the camera. I bought it that day lol. I had it for almost 2 years and I wanted to upgrade so I sold it to a friend. I had a baby that was a couple months old and having that much money in the house, I eneded up spending it on cute little girly clothes. I could have kicked myself because I lost so many photo opps to take of my daughter. A sony cybershot wasnt cutting it. Well a year later I finally got another DSLR! And started making up for all the pictures I missed of my daughter. Then taking pictures of my nephew and a friends child. Then their friends wanted to know if I would do photos and so on and so on. I still consider this as my hobby and I thank social media for spreading the word. So this is just a short story of how all this came about. I am not one to just try and take some cool pictures and then charge big money for them. I love to take my time and capture my clients memories. I love when the client says " I dont want nothing to posey, I like the natural look you do". So do I and I think thats when the photo tells a story about their family. ~ As I have practiced it, photography produces pleasure by simplicity. I see something special and show it to the camera. A picture is produced. The moment is held until someone sees it. Then it is theres.~ I would love to thank everyone who supported me and believed in me.
